This quote from speaker Gregory Burns underscores my passion for the art of public speaking. During my 25-year career in the financial services industry, I have often been asked to present workshops and seminars. It was those presentations that helped me uncover my passion for speaking… never mind that I wasn’t very good when I first started speaking.
For several years I struggled through embarrassing mistakes, confusing messages, and failed attempts to provide audiences with meaningful messages.
Then I met World Champion speaker David Brooks. From that day, I became a student of the craft of public speaking. I invested thousands of dollars in audio and video programs, training, and coaching. Additionally, I studied with Hall of Fame and World Champion speakers who taught me cutting edge ideas to create meaningful and memorable speeches. As a result, I became a speaker, salesperson, and leader with clarity, confidence, and conviction.
As a result of these experiences, I am committed to changing the world by improving communication and speaking skills through coaching, workshops, and keynote speeches.
To further my knowledge of speaking, I continue to study the best speakers in the world. In 2011, I earned the certification of World Class Speech Coach. I also study the art of comedy and movie making to learn new skills that can take speech creation and delivery to new levels.
My goal is for everyone whom I speak to and work with to gain clarity, confidence, and conviction in their speaking skills so that they can Stand Up and Stand Out every time.
